What Field Scout does not do
No tracking between shops
One location fix, at the moment a parchi is made, so the office knows the collection happened at that shop. Never a trail, never in the background. Refuse the permission and the app still works.
Salesman cannot edit the past
Only the office can correct a row. A collection once written stays written, which is exactly why the number can be trusted.
Offline first
Vasooli is recorded on the phone and sent when network returns. The receipt number is reserved before the slip is made.

Who is Field Scout for?
Distributors, stockists and wholesalers in India with 2 to 10 salesmen or collection staff on the road: FMCG, grocery, snacks, beverages, pharma, hardware and paint, agri-input, electrical, or any business whose people take orders and collect money at the client's shop.
How much does Field Scout cost?
Free for every distributor until 31 March 2027. From 1 April 2027 it is ₹199 per month for 10 field seats. The app will say so before any charge begins, and nothing already recorded is taken away. Full wording in the terms.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. A collection is recorded on the phone with a receipt number reserved in advance, and it is sent when network returns. The number is never lost or duplicated.
Does Field Scout track the salesman's location all day?
No. It takes one location reading at the moment a collection is recorded, so the office knows it happened at that shop. Nothing is recorded between shops and nothing runs in the background. The salesman can refuse the permission and the app still works. See the privacy policy, section 3.
How does the client get the receipt?
Every collection produces a numbered receipt as a PDF that the salesman sends to the client on WhatsApp. It carries the amount, the date, the mode (cash, UPI or cheque), the salesman's name and the book balance after payment.
Can the salesman sign up on his own?
No. The owner invites each salesman by mobile number and decides what he may do, for example whether he may collect payment. The owner can remove a seat at any time.
